Schnipper Chiropractic Center "...where a spine is a terrible thing to waste"
Dr. Brian Schnipper was born in Brooklyn, New York. According to Dr. Schnipper, ten years later his parents “rescued” him and his sister and moved the family out of the freezing state of New York to the beautiful and tropical South Florida area.
His family lived in Miami for one year, settling in Margate, Florida thereafter where he attended Margate Middle School and Coconut Creek High School. Dr. Schnipper then became a Seminole as he continued his education at The Florida State University where he earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Economics in 1990.
While in college he suffered a pulled hamstring muscle in an intramural softball game. After months of self medicating, taking 6 to 8 advil a day, and at the advice of his father, he decided to see a chiropractor. After two weeks of therapy and adjustments, he found himself pain free and playing softball and golf once again. He was also surprised to find that after these adjustments by his chiropractor his allergies had lessened and he was not suffering the allergy attacks that had burdened him for so many years. It was then that he came to the conclusion that chiropractic field was the natural, healing profession he desired to be a part of.
In 1991, Dr. Schnipper packed up his car and headed to Atlanta where he enrolled at Life Chiropractic College to study chiropractic. On September 18, 1995, on his 27th birthday, and on the 100th birthday of chiropractic, Dr. Schnipper graduated from Life Chiropractic College with his degree. From there he headed home to practice what he had studied diligently for four years. He interned for one year at Hedglon Chiropractic Center in Pompano Beach, Florida. It was there that he learned the true power and magnitude of chiropractic. He adjusted approximately 500-600 patients a week in a high volume practice. It was Dr. Paula Hedglon who taught him that chiropractic is a healing profession that not only allows the body heal itself but allows those under consistent chiropractic care to experience their ultimate and optimum health goals.
In January of 1997, Dr. Schnipper received his license to practice in the state of Florida, and he then moved to West Palm Beach, Fl. to begin his chiropractic career. From January 1997 to April 1999 Dr. Schnipper practiced at Central Palm Beach Physicians in West Palm Beach, Florida. In April of 1999 he left there to open Schnipper Chiropractic Center in Greenacres, Florida. He opened his practice with thoughts of helping as many people as possible reach their health goals through the education of nutrition, exercise, and, of course, the importance of a healthy spine and central nervous system with chiropractic. His practice has grown over the years, and he will continue to serve the community for many years to come.
